One is full with features and other with refinement. 2017, RC390 has loads of features such as; ABS, USD, Ride by wire, Slipper clutch, Adjustable levers etc. and R3 lacks in many feature like ABS, Slipper clutch, No ride by wire and USD. But, R3 got twin cylinder and it is butter smooth compare to RC. Chassis of R3 feels rigid, runs perfect without ABS and Slipper clutch. Where, RC is more focused on track design. From my perspective, I would choose R3 just because refinement cause RC engine vibrates very bad. R3 got forged pistons, Very strong swing arm, chassis and higher compression. Otherwise, I would choose RC just for cheaper amount and track use. In Automobile industry or any engine related industry, there is a philosophical principle they follow that is: VIBRATIONS = IMBALANCE.

Both bikes are powered by 200cc motors producing absolutely same amount of power. 1.Looks- Both are different looking motorcycles. Duke is naked bike and RS is fully faired bike with aggressive edgey styling with Twin projector type headlamp at front. 2.Riding Distance- Yes the riding position on duke is upright but it is uncomfortable for long distance ride. On other hand RS is good for long distance rides. 3.Safety - 200Duke don't have ABS even as an option and the single channel ABS option is available on RS in less price than Duke. 4.Ride Quality- Duke is very fun to ride bike than the RS, the punchy motor accelerates much faster than the RS thanks to the great power to weight ratio of duke. If You are lover of unique features You can Go For Hornet, According 2 me Braking plays a major role as a constraint for selection, In that aspect Hornet has its fantastic CBS. where Gixxer doesnt. I Believe HET engine stability and mileage is better than Gixxer and smoothness wise both are same. Hornet beats Gixxer in terms of Pillion seat comfort. According to me absence of Engine Kill switch will not be any concern for Honda engines. I accept till 0–50 Km Gixxer is best, In that case also Hornet is competitive. the difference in time between both the commuters on reaching 50 Km is only some few seconds. I am using Hornet for the past 2 months exceeded 700 Km didn't find any issues except the horrible Chain sound after 500 km which got rectified in first service.(But I believe the issue will reoccur for every 500 Km which is inevitable for all Honda Bikes) Just Go accordingly on What you feels, You will not disappoint if you choose either.
